Message From GP Hintz

Hey Guys! My name is Greg Hintz, but everyone has gotten to know me by my nickname GP Hintz. I have done a lot in my life that has led me to this moment of introducing myself to you. I have been everything from a chef to an EMT to a Nurse Technician to a missionary to a Children’s Pastor to a Hospice Worker to a Church Planter to a Public Speaker and so much more! Even though these careers have been very different, I look back and I see the common cord linking them all…

​I LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE!

​I really do! From holding the hand of a dying man and spending his last moments with him to standing before thousands of people and delivering a message of inspiration and hope… they both are the same to me. They are about helping people.

​I have traveled all around the world in an effort to help people. From the slums of Brazil to the jungles of Africa, I have traveled and spoke before thousands of people on my journeys. In every place I make new friends and hear new stories. Every one of their stories in some way becomes part of my story as I attempt to bring inspiration and hope to the world.

​This inspiration manifests itself in many ways for me. For example, I have done extensive work with people who suffer with eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Their stories inspired me to write my first book, “THE BEST: a life manifesto“. This work has opened up many doors as people long for the life transformation that I talk about in the work. It is not a story about eating disorders… but a story about life and the desire that we all have to make our lives count.

I have also been inspired through struggles and difficulties that I’ve faced in my life. When we first planted the church called THE PLACE, we had about a dozen people and no money. They were difficult days, but we knew that we were being led by a great calling and Power. We began to use Facebook to reach people and grew the church exponentially over the next three years. I took the knowledge gained through that struggle and launched the next book, “Facebook Jesus: Using Facebook to Build and Grow a Church“. Many people were inspired by this work and used the simple step by step instructions to build their churches. Lives were touched all over the world and more doors began to open.

That brings us to this today. This brings us to the moment where our paths have crossed and you are reading these words.
